(Battery Grip is highly unrecommended when using DSLR! It will oblige you to add much more weight at the bottom and extending a lot Threaded Extension Pipe)

You can set your SturdyCam in three ways:

1) Setting for lightweight Camcorders/DSLR (up to 1.0Kg-2.2lbs)

Extended Horizontal bar at the top with weights far from pipe (obligatory to achieve L/R balance)

No Threaded Extension Pipe at the bottom

2)Setting for medium Camcorders/DSLR (between 1.2Kg-2.5lbs and 2.0Kg-4.4lbs)

Extended Horizontal bar at the top with weights far from pipe

Threaded Extension Pipe at the bottom

3) Setting for heavy Camcorders/DSLR (over 2.0Kg-4.4lbs)

No Horizontal bar at the top

Threaded Extension Pipe at the bottom (obligatory to achieve L/R balance)
